The above hand signals, though not required by LAW, are commonly used by snowmobilers on the trails. They are shown above with the rider wearing mittens, however, common among riders wearing gloves, the signal for sleds following may be just holding up the left hand, with fingers held up to signify the NUMBER OF SLEDS FOLLOWING. Each rider would reduce the number of fingers held up until the last rider signals that they are the last sled in the group. |
